Surf together in Oeste
An informal, no-fee surf community for beginner-to-intermediate surfers around Lourinhã, Praia da Areia Branca, Peniche, Baleal, Lagide, Cantinho, and Molhe Leste.
We’re not a surf school. We’re a group of friends, old and new, who meet up, share surf plans, build confidence, and paddle out together when the conditions are right.

Already have your own board and gear? You’ll fit right in.
iSurfOeste
iSurfOeste is for people who have already taken some lessons, have their own board and wetsuit, and want to keep progressing without always booking a formal class.
Some of us are newer. Some are more experienced. All of us are still learning, improving, and figuring things out session by session.
We take extra lessons when we need them, support local surf schools, and then meet up to surf together as a relaxed crew.

Local Surf Community

This is about more than catching waves.
iSurfOeste connects people in the Oeste region who want to surf more often, meet others, and enjoy the ocean together. We usually meet around Praia da Areia Branca, Molhe Leste, Baleal, Lagide, and Cantinho, depending on the conditions.
New faces are welcome. Good vibes matter.

Progress Together
Surfing gets better when you keep showing up, especially with people who understand the journey
We share small wins, wipeouts, tips, encouragement, and local experience
No pressure. No ego. Just steady progress with good people.
Going from lessons to surfing on your own can feel like a big step
As a group, we help each other read conditions, choose suitable spots, understand the lineup, respect surf etiquette, and make better decisions before paddling out
We are not instructors or lifeguards, just surfers helping each other feel more confident and aware in the water
